Women in the Future Cyberpunk World
Research into the female cybernetic body: how might imagined technologies support agency, perception and power?

The idea & the making
This research project questions how women’s bodies are represented in cyberpunk worlds. Drawing on film, body art and emerging technologies, I explore character possibilities that place autonomy and capability at the centre of the image.
The investigation moves from cultural and visual research to body sketches, AI-assisted concept experiments, Arduino sensor tests and 3D modelling studies. Exoskeletons, augmented perception and biological forms become prompts for imagining a different relationship between a character and her environment.
The technological functions remain speculative. What the process made clear was a direction for further work: developing character through the relationship between bodily form, lived experience and the world that surrounds it.
An exploratory research project. The gallery distinguishes authored 3D and hardware studies from AI-assisted concept imagery. Proposed biological and cybernetic capabilities are speculative.
